Although seemingly more expensive than solid timber on a per metre basis, Frame Wise recognise and promote the replacement of large section solid timber, such as in floor joists and roof timbers, with engineered wood; a lightweight, structurally strong and stable, high grade building component. With computer aided design, long and light components provide for quicker installation and enhanced lifespan performance typically using less than half the amount of trees than a traditional carcassing timber floor.
