The National, Self Build & Renovating Centre, In Swindon

As part of our marketing and brand awareness campaign for 2009 Frame Wise have secured substantial stand space, to educate, cultivate and assist the Self Builder. We have taken two stands, one in the education zone and our main stand you will see in front of the book shop in the Trade Village (stand number TV61).

These stands will help to answer numerous questions and demonstrate Frame Wise’s commitment to keeping up to date with the ever changing Building Regulations, drawing special attention to sustainability, the environment, U-values and air tightness.

You will also see on the stand our latest development with the "Twin wall" system, which is already achieving great success, where increased U-values and air tightness are the key drivers and we are now achieving less than 0.1W/m2k on external walls and air tightness 1m3/h/m2, which is key to assisting the high levels required in Building Regulations for code for sustainable homes. We have testing modules currently running that are collating the following bonus points

  • Air Tightness – Achieving better results using our twin wall system
  • U values – Best results achieved using open panel timber frame
  • Kerb appeal
  • Contempary / flexible design
  • Assists with code level 5 and above.

The following products displayed on our stand:

  • "Open panel" timber frame achieving U values from 0.3W/m2k to 0.21W/m2k
