Insulation

Rigid Urethane with Foil Facings

• Excellent Thermal Efficiency - Lower U-Values can be achieved with thinner walls.
• Factory fitted option available - reducing time on site.
• Manufactured less than 10 miles from Frame Wise Ltd - this reduces emissions from transportation.
• Manufacturing process produces no CFCs or HCFCs, this gives it a zero ODP (Ozone Depletion Potential)

Mineral Wool (Glass or Stone)

• Glass wool is made from silica - one of the earth’s most abundant materials
• Rock wool is made from volcanic rock
• 80% of the glass in glass wool is recycled from post consumer waste
• The structure of the wool allows the rolls to be highly compressed when packaged, reducing the amount of transport required
• Manufacturing process produces no CFCs or HCFCs, this gives it a zero ODP (Ozone Depletion Potential)
• They both have a GWP (Global Warming Potential) of less than 5
• They also have a Fire Rating of A1 - The best that can be awarded

Sheep Wool, Hemp or Wood Fibre

• Natural products that are both sustainable and renewable
• They are manufactured into standard sized rolls to help installation
• They are all safe to handle without specialist safety equipment, this makes them easy to install
• They are all breathable and will naturally regulate moisture and temperature
• They have a zero GWP (Global Warming Potential)

Recycled Paper

• Made from recycled newspapers and as a result requires very little energy to produce
• Installed by spraying onto walls or into cavities, this method reduces the potential for gaps and will provide excellent air-tightness
• Recycled paper contains added salts to give fire resistant
• Recycled Paper has a zero ODP (Ozone Depletion Potential)
• Recycled Paper has a negative GWP (Global Warming Potential)
